Kempinski Hotel Cancun Debuts in Mexico
Kempinski Hotels brings European luxury to Mexico with Kempinski Hotel Cancun. The five-star hotel is the first property in North America from the European luxury hotel group. The property finalized its transition at the beginning of this year, bringing guests the timeless elegance expected from the Kempinski name along the turquoise shores of paradise.
"Cancun is a top destination for travelers across North America who are seeking rich culture, fine dining, adventure and relaxation all while enjoying picturesque white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs. We are honored to introduce travelers to the Kempinski experience at Kempinski Hotel Cancun, where we've brought the iconic elements of our European brand and blended these with local elements of the destination to create a one-of-a-kind luxury product," said General Manager Aref Sayegh.
The hotel's standout amenities include a fitness center with sauna and steam rooms, a tennis center, private cabanas and lounges on a 1,200-foot stretch of beach, a beauty salon and a kids' club, while extensive indoor and outdoor event spaces provide turnkey solutions and stunning environments for any occasion. In addition, the hotel offers six on-site restaurants, led by Chef Rene Camelo, where guests will find carefully curated menus, from the award-winning Mediterranean fine-dining restaurant Fantino to the romantic Casitas, located on the beach.
Conveniently located in Cancun's hotel zone, the property is just 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport and downtown Cancun. Upscale shopping centers, such as the Kukulcan Plaza or La Isla Shopping Village, are within walking distance.
